GIRLS U17 INTERPROS 2022

The Leinster U17 Girls Youth Interprovincial squads will be completing a series of matches against the Northern Cricket Union (NCU) and North West Cricket Union (NWCU) in both 35 over and T20 formats over 5 days. See below the details of all the matches and the squads.

Isobel Joyce, our Women’s and Girls Development Officer says: “The newly revamped interpros are something that all the players and staff have been looking forward to after a couple of years of curtailed seasons and, in particular, representative cricket. Having two teams involved means that a large number of our girls will get to experience the excitement of representative cricket.

The overnight trip gives them an opportunity to get to know their counterparts in the other unions - a really important aspect in keeping the girls in the game. It also helps to bridge the gap between club and super series cricket for those players looking to play at a higher level.”
