A brilliant batting performance from EY saw them set up an excellent all-round performance that helped them secure the CL Hundred Ball Business League for the second season in succession.
The first 40 deliveries were dominated by Barend van Rensberg, as he faced half of them and retired on 37, bringing the score to 73.

Things got no better with the ball for PWC, as the next 40 saw Skanda Rao making his way to 55 before retiring after a six off the final delivery, before Rahul Shah made 38 from his 20 deliveries as they added 105 from the next 40 balls.

The final 20 balls saw only 35 more added as PWC fought back with the ball, claiming 3 wickets including the key run out of Swapnil Modgill, however an imposing total of 213/4 had been set, meaning PWC faced a huge chase in the second innings.

EY's fielding was on-song from the outset, and helped them to squeeze PWC throughout the innings, as they conceded just 54 from the opening 40 deliveries, followed by an even tighter spell of 47 from the next 40.

Ultimately, the holders claimed the crown again having restricted PWC to just 129 in their 100 deliveries, securing an 84 run victory, and back-to-back titles for EY!
Congratulations to all associated with the EY team on another magnificent CL HBBL campaign, as the competition wraps up for the 2026 season!
