In line with our ongoing commitment to support our clubs in key areas, Cricket Leinster is hosting a Workshop Session for all clubs on the topic of 'Diversity & Inclusion'. The workshop will take place on Tuesday 5th March from 7.30pm to 9.00pm in Clontarf CC and will be facilitated by Jim Bennett (Chair of the CL Child Safeguarding & Inclusion Committee) and Meena Baskarasubramanian (Independent Director on the CL Board). The purpose of this session is to brief clubs on the Cricket Leinster policy/approach on Diversity & Inclusion and to give clubs guidance on how best to ensure that their policies and practices fully embrace an ethos of inclusivity for all. It will also discuss common pitfalls in this area and how such issues can be avoided by positive planning and action. All clubs are requested to have a representative at this important workshop, ideally someone in a leadership role at the club who is in a position to influence club policy, culture and governance.
