The Cricket Leinster Women’s Future Series team get their campaign underway this weekend, with back-to-back fixtures against their NCU counterparts taking place in Oak Hill on Saturday & Sunday.
Saturday sees the side kicking off their campaign with a T20 fixture, with the game starting at 13:30, whilst Sunday’s encounter sees the team facing it’s first 50 over game, starting at 10:45.

The side will be captained for the duration of the series by Merrion batter Annabel Squires, and will feature a number of Irish-contracted players who have been released to take part in the fixtures, including Aimee Maguire and Alice Tector, who will both play as batters only, and all-rounder Ellie McGee.
This weekend’s fixtures are the first in a pair of double-headers for the team, with a further pair of back-to-back matches taking place on July 31st & August 1st, away against the North West Cricket Union.
