The twelfth and final game in the CL Under 23 District Cup competition is scheduled to take place between North Leinster and Dublin University on Thursday 17th July at Oak Hill commencing at 11.00am.
This final game is a title decider, after which the trophy for 2025 will be co-presented by Meena Baskarasubramanian (CL President) and Ger Siggins (Dublin University CC).
This competition is intended as a high-performance pathway competition for players with potential to achieve selection for the Leinster Lightning Bolts and/or the higher levels.
It has been designed to maximise ‘representative’ opportunities for such players in particular those who no longer qualify for underage representative competitions but have potential to play at a higher level subject to development, exposure/opportunity and performance at both club and district levels.
The 2025 U23 District Cup competition started on 7th May last when Dublin University beat North Leinster by 45 runs at College Park despite a solid 54 that day from Hassan Shahid for the visitors.
The two teams for this deciding game are as follows:
DUBLIN UNIVERSITY

Johit Munjal
