CL PATRONS CLUB REACHES 150 MEMBERS (15.4.2026)

We would like to thank all members of the Cricket Leinster Patron’s Club for their support.

There are now 150 patrons signed up for 2026 across both schemes.

The funds provided by the patrons are all directed towards our youth & women’s cricket development programmes.

In the last 12 months, the funding from our patrons has supported some key programmes including:

- Expansion of our youth development work in both Kildare and Meath in partnership with Local Authorities.
- Support for artificial pitch installations, mainly in public park settings in partnership with Local Authorities.
- Provision of advisory support to existing clubs and prospective new clubs on grounds & accreditation challenges.
- Purchase and distribution of branded plastic cricket sets to over 100 schools across the province.
- Provision of payment subsidies and/or waivers in circumstances where affordability challenges might otherwise have mitigated against a child's participation. 

The funding support from our CL patrons continues to enable increased youth and women's cricket participation and this will continue to be our focus over the next period.
