CL CRICKET SETS & WIND-BALLS FOR ALL CLUBS - JUNE 2021

As part of our ongoing focus on youth development at club level, and in addition to the youth starter packs (included with player registration), we will shortly be distributing CL branded cricket sets (see photo attached for illustration) to all clubs with registered youth cricketers.

The CL team will be distributing circa 220 cricket sets so each club will receive at least 4 sets (and lots of wind-balls) for use as part of their youth programme - these will be especially beneficial at the starter level/younger age groups as a means of introducing the game in a fun and friendly manner.

Distribution to the clubs will be handled by our Development staff over the next couple of weeks:

North Leinster/Fingal - Brían O'Rourke
South Leinster/SDCC - Naomi Scott-Hayward
Dun Laoghaire Rathdown/Wicklow - Jim Stewart
Dublin City - Fintan McAllister
South East/Wexford - Herbie Honohan
Midlands - Bernard O'Mara
Kildare - Anne O'Meara

We hope this support will be of assistance to all those working at club level to foster and develop a love of cricket within their Youth Section and in particular at the younger age groups. 

In reciprocation, we would love to see some nice photos of the equipment being put to good use - the best 2 photos submitted by Friday 23rd July will receive a voucher for 10 club-based coaching sessions with 2/3 Leinster Lightning squad members (which can be redeemed at any stage over the next 12 months). Our President (Stella Downes) will adjudicate and decide on the 2 winning entries.
