CL CLUB DAY EVENT (16.2.2025)

Cricket Leinster would like to thank all those who attended and participated at the CL Club Day Event at the Talbot Hotel, Stillorgan.

We had circa 80 delegates in attendance with a positive and constructive atmosphere throughout the day.

Thanks also to Brian MacNeice (Chair, Cricket Ireland) and Richard Fahey (Head of Facilities, Cricket Ireland) for their presentation on the National Strategy (2024-27 inclusive).

Amongst the various discussions throughout the day, some of the key themes included:

• How to address the various grounds & facilities challenges especially for clubs operating on public land.
• How to growth youth & women’s cricket at all clubs across the province.
• How to address our challenges around player behaviour and discipline issues
