CLONTARF, MALAHIDE, RAILWAY, NORTH COUNTY, BALBRIGGAN AND THE HILLS PROGRESS IN LHW SENIOR CUP!

Here are our summary results from the first round fixtures in the LHW Financial Planning Senior Cup:

The individual results are as follows:

Dublin University lost to Railway Union by 8 wkts (DLS).
Leinster beat Merrion by 7 wkts (DLS)
Rush tied with North County, North County win on fewer wkts lost.
Clontarf beat Malahide by 6 wkts (DLS)
Phoenix vs Pembroke - refixed for Monday 1st June.
North Kildare lost to Balbriggan by 5 wkts (DLS)
Terenure lost to The Hills by 13 runs (DLS)
Civil Service vs Adamstown - refixed for Monday 1st June.

The Quarter-Finals line up has still to be finalised however this is what we know this evening:

Railway Union vs Leinster (Park Avenue)
North County vs Clontarf (Inch)
Phoenix/Pembroke vs Balbriggan (Phoenix Park/Sydney Parade)
The Hills vs Civil Service/Adamstown (The Vineyard)

The 2026 LHW Financial Planning Senior Cup Final is scheduled for Pembroke’s Ground at Sydney Parade on Saturday 1st August and will be live-streamed throughout the day via the CL YouTube channel. As part of the day, there will also be the annual CL Patron’s Lunch.

Sam Morgan and Fionn Hand were the heroes from Clontarf in Round 1

The historic trophy will be presented to the captain of the winning team by Alan Lewis, Managing Director, LHW Financial Planning.
