Longford Cricket Club is an up and coming club based in Newtownforbes, Co. Longford. We welcome any new players and aim to provide a safe environment for cricket enthusiasts to enjoy the world's greatest sport.

We have undertaken several improvements over the last three years, with investments made in equipment and ground infrastructure.

Our ground is situated in Newtownforbes Co. Longford. We have a mat wicket so please do not wear spikes while playing at the ground. 

We are a young club that has enjoyed a large amount of success. In existence since 2011, we have  captured the Connacht league title  before moving to Leinster. 

Our 2nds were the first to taste silverware winning Division 11 in 2014. More recently our first team has gone from strength to strength winning Division 6 in 2016, Division 5 in 2017 and the middle cup in 2018. Our 2nds also brought home silverware in the shape of the Dick O'Neill Cup in 2017.
