Gorey Cricket Club is a community based club with senior and junior members from all over North County Wexford and South County Wicklow. We aim to make cricket enjoyable for all, no matter your age, size, experience or ability.
Our artificial pitch (installed in 2017) is located beside the 2 soccer pitches and is directly adjacent to some beautiful rolling farmlands with views of both the Irish Sea and Tara Hill. A wonderful landscape to play cricket against on a sunny summer afternoon.
Gorey Cricket Club was established in 2015 and as a club, we have continued to grow over the last six years. In 2017 our Senior team completed their first season in Cricket Leinster open competitions finishing a respectable 3rd place in Division 14. The following season our senior team went on to win Division 14, part of a double with the Dick O'Neill Cup to cap a brilliant year for the club. The club defended their Dick O'Neill title in 2020, after a weather-delayed finals day from 2019.
The club currently has a senior team competing in Cricket Leinster open competitions, a social/taverner team, junior teams and we aim to have a women's team in the near future. We look forward to continued success and growth in the coming years.
