Dundalk Cricket Club was founded in 2009 to make Cricket accessible to those in Dundalk and neighboring towns. We are open to those of all ages and abilities, male and female and have a diverse list of nationalities playing in the team including: Irish, English, Australian, Indian, Pakistani, Afghanistani and Nepali to name a few!
Our ground has two practice cages and our pitch is an artificial one. We can provide qualified coaching during the season on weekday evenings. We have two Open league sides and are now playing at a new ground in the heart of Dundalk town. The club’s aim is involve more younger players and setup a youth team.
First founded in 1853, Dundalk Cricket Club played at a ground of four acres about half a mile from RS. Played six matches in 1865 and survived into the 1870s. We then refounded in 2009 and have gradually built over recent years to our current size.
