Leinster 1
Leinster won by 5 wkts
A crucial Division 2 refix - and how many times have we said that about Division 2 matches this year. Both sides would have been moderately happy with their work last weekend, although they are now both out of the Senior Cup. The first time these two will have met on level terms with previous matches being between Balbriggan 1 and Leinster 2

Match Report

And it's all over! Leinster win by 5 wickets as JP O'Dwyer hits the first ball of the last over for 6. He finishes on 60* from 30 balls. Leinster take 23 points to move to 5th place on 60 points. Balbriggan stay in 4th place on 76.

18:45 A scorecard has been added
18:56 @cricketleinster: A great start for Balbriggan in their Div 2 game with Farukh on 55 from 34. Full coverage at http://t.co/OhuHD7q0we #cricketleinster #10562
19:25 That's a pretty big total for Leinster to chase. 176 to win, with the contributions of JP O'Dwyer, Pete Johnston and Adam Ward being vital for Leinster
19:52 A big over from Leinster sees them on to 39-1 from 4. At the same stage, Balbriggan were 24-2. A long way to go though, and Mohammad Farukh was just getting going at this stage of the Balbriggan innings
20:04 Absolutely neck and neck at this stage. After 8 Balbriggan were 63-2. Leinster are 64-2. Do Leinster have enough depth to knock off the next 111 runs?
20:13 As Craig Mallon is bowled by Roger Kear, the match enters a crucial few overs. Can JP O'Dwyer rise to the challenge? How will these 25 Division 2 points be split?
20:15 Well, Leinster's talismanic O'Dwyer answered the prayers of Leinster supporters there. Three successive sixes of Kear, and the pendulum swings back to Leinster
20:21 Only 8 from that over bowled by Tariq Faheem, and the run rate creeps that little bit higher. Leinster need 57 from 42 balls
20:25 The runs continue to flow, with 10 coming from that Shami Ahmed over. Professional Mohammed Farukh still has two overs left, but the other bowlers have been expensive. The other four overs are going to be crucial. Leinster need 47 from 36
20:27 Boom! 14 from that Tariq Faheem over. JP O'Dwyer is now on 46 from 21 balls. Leinster need 33 from 30. Balbriggan need a few quick wickets
20:31 A wicket for Shammi! Balbriggan get rid of Pete Johnston, and still have hope. Leinster need 31 from 24 balls with 6 wickets left. JP O'Dwyer and Gareth Delany at the crease - and Farukh will bowl two of those overs
20:35 JP O'Dwyer goes to a 22 ball 50, but only six come from that over bowled by Leinster old boy, Sarfraz Anwar. Leinster need 25 from 18 balls, with 12 of them to be bowled by Farukh! Balbriggan maybe the favourites again?
20:38 Farukh delivers with a tight over - only six coming from it. Leinster need 19 from 12 balls, and you sense they need a big penultimate over. At least 11 needed you'd think, which would leave 8 from that last Farukh over
20:46 So much excitement! 18.1 Two runs to Gareth Delany 18.2 Delany stumped off Anwar 18.3 Four byes! 18.4 Four runs to Danny Coad 18.5 Dot 18.6 Four more to Coad! Leinster need five to win, but Farukh is to bowl it. What a finish
20:49 And it's all over! Leinster win by 5 wickets as JP O'Dwyer hits the first ball of the last over for 6. He finishes on 60* from 30 balls. Leinster take 23 points to move to 5th place on 60 points. Balbriggan stay in 4th place on 76.
20:50 Many thanks to Tommy Geraghty in Balbriggan for using the RSA sponsored iPads to bring this score to the Match Centre, in conjunction with Total Cricket Scorer
