Youth
Background
In 2010 the primary schools, secondary schools and club youth sections amalgamated to form the Youth & Schools' Section which oversees the running of youth cricket in Leinster.
There are 22 clubs in the Leinster area providing cricket for youth players, and league and cup competitions for boys from U11 – U19, and girls from U11 – U15 are run throughout the summer. Many clubs accept children from the age of 7.
