A real rollercoaster of a match, swinging one way then the other. Malahide batted first and recovered from 38/4 to post over a run a ball by the end. One fine innings of 95* proved to be a fine foundation. Pembroke were taken to the winning line by Captain Steve McCarthy and his 85*. He received fine support from Paddy Halpin (53), Brian Bannigan (33) and Sean Smith (31). The winning runs were struck with only 43 balls remaining. A fine game to play and to watch (through fingers at the end).
