Having secured promotion to Leinster Cricket Division One last season, Terenure CC is actively planning and preparing for the season ahead.
Whilst Dave Langford-Smith will shortly be arriving from Australia to join the squad's pre-season training, Terenure CC is also delighted to have secured the services of Stephen Moreton who joins the club from Leinster CC. Stephen will add strength and experience to both the batting and spin bowling departments and is a proven performer at Division One level having scored over 300 runs in 2013 and taken 22 wickets at an average of 25 apiece.
Speaking about his move to Terenure, Moreton commented - 'I'm delighted to have joined a club hungry for success and I'm looking forward to playing my part in realising Terenure's ambition. I'm also looking to press my claims with Leinster Lightning and am confident that strong performances for Terenure can only assist in achieving that and the clubs goals',
Terenure CC is equally delighted to say 'welcome home' to Conor Kelly who returns to the club following a spell with Phoenix. Conor will further strengthen the squad with both bat and ball - he scored over 500 runs last season in Division One at an average of 39 whilst also contributing with the ball taking 8 wickets. ”While I’m sorry to leave Phoenix after some really good years I’m very happy to be returning to Terenure at an exciting time for the club They gave me my start in cricket and I’m very happy to be going back at a time when things are developing in all areas” added Kelly
