Our last league preview looked at Division 5, and was full of optimism for teams who by and large had a good chance of winning the league Division 7 is similar - most of the teams have a good chance of winning the trophy. There is a difference however, that difference being that the majority of the eight teams in Division 7 look to be prime relegation material.

How they perform over the season will have a big part to play in determining who will stay up and who will go down.

A fairly convincing campaign from Dundalk, who lost only twice. They may well have had a couple of regrets - the only time they played runners-up Swords, Swords prevailed by two wickets. The other slight asterisk against the win, is that the lowest that Dundalk have finished since they entered the league in 2011

What a great result for Dundalk, a relatively new club in County Louth. A record of 10 wins, 2 defeats, 1 no result and only 1 walkover win saw them top the table on percentage and points
