With 21 matches still to be played in Division 11, none of the outstanding league issues are that close to being decided. But we can still make a few complete stabs in the dark, and predict who we think will be going up and down.
The promotion race looks to be any two from Greystones 2, Castleknock 2 and Clontarf 5. Clontarf have three games left, and with two of those against their fellow promotion chasers, they will need to win all three matches to have any chance of going up. Greystones host Clontarf this Sunday in Greystones, whilst Castleknock travel to Castle Avenue on September 15th.
The crucial Castleknock vs Greystones match is still waiting to be refixed - the result of that match will probably decide the destination of the league title.
At the bottom, it also looks as if there are three clubs worrying about their destiny. Bagenalstown 2 have had a difficult season. wnd whilst they are still a long way from mathematical relegation, they need to win five of their last six matches to stay up, and that looks unlilkely.
The other two teams in trouble are North County 5 and Cabinteely 1. Those two meet in North County this Saturday, and defeat for Cabinteely may leave them with too much to do
