All clubs should take note of Regulation 2 in the General Playing Regulations, which will be enforced in 2012.
The regulation concerned starts as follows: "Clubs shall register all players who are intending to play in the forthcoming season, using the registration system on the LCU website. A player will not be permitted to play in a match or be included in starrings until he has been properly registered in such a manner"
Instances of non-registered players playing in Division 1-4 are likely to be met with an immediate penalty.
Players are approved on a daily basis, and there is no need to notify the OCC that this has been done. However, if there is an urgent need for a player to be approved, please contact Paul Reynolds, who can advise as to whether the player can be cleared to play.
