The LCU's new website, cricketleinster.ie, has allowed the Union to totally overhaul large parts of the administration of it's competitions.
This will be most noticable to the cricketing public, with clubs being able (or compelled!) to enter all match results through the website. All matches, from Division 1 in mens and womens down to an u11 girls cup match will be entered directly on the site, so that results and reports will be quickly accessible to all. This task is limited to only the home team, so the workload on clubs is minimised
It is vital that everyone involved in the clubs around the province is made aware of this - it will be the only way that results can be reported, so please spread the work, and make sure that everyone in your clubs knows.
The final piece in the jigsaw is how clubs will upload the details of the match in the form of a scorecard. Details of how this will be done will be published in early April

Absolutely brilliant idea. hope it does not have too many teething problems. good that we will be able to see all results and personal performances.
