YMCA’s Michael O’Reilly has won the 2014 ‘Find a Fast Bowler’ award following several excellent performances with the ball when playing for the Leinster U13’s last summer. The award goes to promising fast bowlers in the Leinster region and this is the ninth year this programme has been in existence. It looks to identify young fast bowlers so club and provincial coaches can work with them in order for them to achieve their full potential.
Michael’s highlight of the season was his five wicket haul in Leinster’s victory over North West at Rathmines in July.
