Dundalk Cricket Club are on the look out for the new young cricketers of Dundalk and the rest of the county.
The club established in 2009 are thriving at senior level with two Leinster titles in the trophy cabinet and the new state of the art artificial pitch at their Dromiskin ground puts them up with the best of the clubs in Leinster.
The club are now looking to to expand their junior section. Great strides have been made this year the culmination of which was the successful partnership with St Vincents Girls School and the forming of a team based there, the club are now looking to expand further and are inviting all interested boys and girls to get involved.
The Leinster region has a thriving competitive youth league structure at all ages so there will be plenty of opportunity for youngsters to pit their skills against some of the best clubs in the province
The club now have a number of trained ECB Level 2 coaches and so are well placed to offer expert training for all beginners, the club are also well equipped and can provide bats, balls and pads as needed.

The club will also be putting on a demonstration of the game on Sunday June 15th at the Blackrock Raft Race & Family Fun Day where we will be featuring the girls of St Vincents School, some of the clubs junior members and maybe one or two of the senior squad members, by chance that same day the 2nd XI will be playing a league match at home against rivals Knockharley from Meath, so if after seeing the demonstration at Blackrock your appetite is whetted for the real thing then it's a short journey from Blackrock to the Dromiskin Green Road ground.
If after all this you are tempted then you can follow it up on Wednesday 18th June at 6pm when the club will holding a beginners junior mixed training session at it's ground, all are welcome and the club will provide all the necessary equipment and guide any would be Kevin O'Brien's through their initial introduction to the sport.
